We have mostly sunny days and 4 different seasons. In spring there will be warm days and beautiful wildflowers, summer will bring the green grass and days filled with sun and an occasional thundershower. Fall has crisp days and cool nights plus the added color of Aspen and Oak trees. In winter enjoy the snow by snowshoeing, cross country skiing or snowmobiling under bright blue skies. Wildlife in the area includes large elk herds, deer, antelope and many species of birds all of which can usually be seen from your home or along the roadways.

There are unlimited recreational activities all just a short distance away such as the Grand Canyon, Snowbowl, numerous golf courses, Lake Powell, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater just to name a few. In Flagstaff and Williams there are many cultural events held throughout the year such as Winterfest, the Route 66 Car Rally and the Pine Country Pro Rodeo.

Parks has one elementary school, a deli, a restaurant, a community church and general store. Year around
